Surrender #5.5

What inspired Kathy to do this series is from a dream of a geometric shape that represented, “feel good”. On these shapes are little doors that are big openings to portals. Kids in boats approach these openings while holding the surrender flag as their sail. “Surrendering” refers to letting go of all control. It is then that we can be open to the flow and can flirt with the unknown. Follow signs and portals. Go with what sings to you. Creativity is life force. It is in that moment that interesting things happen and start to unfold.  In this case, the openings are the honeycombs. They remind us of the divine creators, bees. Bees create these sacred geometric shapes which represent harmony between the material and spiritual realms.  Bees were once wasps, who are predators and carnivorous. They evolved to become bees with hairy bodies, and buckets on their feet to carry pollen. Ever since their existence, there are more beautiful and colorful flowers. These elevated insects have also have gifted us with medicinal honey, which is considered to be the nectar of the Gods.   Bees are perfect examples of how we can evolve into higher beings. They are believed to be messengers between worlds and bring back messages from the Gods. These sublime creatures teach us that we can not only discover, but can create worlds of infinite possibilities.
