Snake Talisman Necklace

Handmade talisman pendant and chain with labradorite stone. This talisman can be worn to mark the upcoming Chinese New Year - 2025 is the year of the Wood Snake. The snake design was made using a traditional hand-carved stamp technique. Both pendant and chain are 2 micron 18kt gold plated sterling silver. In an effort to be as responsible as possible, the piece is made from only recycled gold and silver and ehtically-sourced gemstones. The ouroboros symbol (a snake biting its own tail) represents the cyclical nature of time and the cosmos, of infinity and of the eternal cycle of renewal and transformation. Sometimes called the shaman's stone, labradorite has powerful healing, protective, psychic and mystical properties. In addition to enhancing intuitive abilities, self-awareness, and the awakening of one’s authentic inner spirit, labradorite is thought to help create a protective shield against negative energies and provides grounding while navigating life’s challenges and changes.
