Inspired by the Punahou Class of 2021 giant lei po’o (pictured) I helped create for my son’s baccalaureate. This unique, 3 dimensional piece represents the culmination of the beautiful experience my children and I were blessed to be able to have at Punahou.
Each leaf and flower are handmade from thick acrylic paint. They are then assembled piece-by-piece on a live edge slab of locally sourced monkeypod wood. Wire hangers on back allow for vertical or horizontal orientation.
