“PROJECTION” series 2024 This three-piece introduction to the *Projection* series, released in June 2024, explores how our mental state shapes our environment. The series examines the human tendency to project moods onto others and the world around us—the waves we ride, the horizon, the experience. It reminds us that it's okay to have a bad day; what matters is how we overcome it. *Projection* depicts a lone surfer riding at dawn. Despite the open break, the perfect wave, and the serene morning, her mood clouds her perception, projecting her feelings onto the environment. Only the pair of Manu O Kū flying above and her objective self, the sole elements of clarity, remain unaffected by this projection.
