This iconic panoramic view of Lahaina in the mid 1990's, shows the beloved section of town from Lahainaluna Road, up Front Street, past the harbor and beach to the ocean and the island of Lanai. It is a variation of the exact same place painted by the artist in 90's, "Treasures in Paradise" showing the Lahaina shopping haven and "Swept by the Sea", the remarkably pristine beach right next to a thriving commercial, yet human scale place. You know this place, people from all over the world love this place!
Although not shown in the exhibit photographs, this piece is now framed in beautiful koa wood, an exceptional addition to an already spectacular piece.
