I frequently use a "crackle powder" fusing process that includes clear sheet glass and several colors of glass powders.
This piece incorporates cool and contrasting colors and was fired several times. It was inspired by shield-like forms and my fondness for diagonal lines and negative space.
The work is mounted on a vertical steel rod anchored in a slate and glass base.
