Blue & Buff Kahili

This Blue with a touch of Buff Kahili was created using the highest quality goose feathers and specially selected for uniformity. The process of making Kahili consists of several steps from sourcing the feathers, cleaning, trimming, and sorting, to individually tying each feather. This process is done with patience and purpose and takes over 25-35 hours to create. This special art form is one that has been taught to me by my Kumu, Mele Kahalepuna Chun. She is a master feather artist in her own right and third generation feather artist.  keywords: Hawaiiana, featherwork
