This vase was thrown on the wheel. White crackle glaze applied. Fired in Raku kiln to 1800 degrees. Removed from kiln and placed in container with combustibles. The glaze crackles because it contracts as it cools on the vase. It turns black wherever glaze hasn’t been placed on pot.
